Dr. James Moore is a highly skilled and experienced family practice physician based in Farmington, Missouri.
He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri and completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Dr. Moore has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and has a strong reputation in the community for providing compassionate and personalized care to his patients. He believes in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms, and takes the time to listen to his patients' concerns and address their unique needs. He is also highly skilled in preventative medicine, helping his patients maintain optimal health and avoid future health problems. Dr. Moore's areas of expertise include primary care for adults and children, chronic disease management, preventative medicine, and sports medicine. He is also well-versed in the latest medical technology and treatments, and stays up-to-date with the latest research in order to provide the best possible care for his patients. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Moore is also actively involved in the community. He volunteers with local health clinics, provides medical care to underprivileged families, and participates in health fairs and other community events. He also currently serves as Medical Director of a local hospice and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Moore is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care and is committed to helping them achieve optimal health and well-being. Rebecca Buchanan is a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner based in Farmington, MO. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University. With over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field, Rebecca has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in providing high-quality care to her patients. Rebecca is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. She is dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to each of her patients and takes the time to understand their unique needs and concerns. Rebecca specializes in family medicine and has a particular interest in women's health and preventative healthcare. Chiropractor
Mark M. Medley, D.C. is a Chiropractic Physician and provider at Midwest Orthopedic Center. Dr. Medley was born in Farmington. He attended St. Joseph grade school and Farmington High School. He was a member of the Dyersburg State College baseball team in Dyersburg, TN for two years before completing his undergraduate studies at Logan University in St. Louis. After graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2001, he moved back to Farmington where he has been practicing for over 10 years. Dr. Medley was the consulting Chiropractic Physician for Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center from 2001 to 2006. He is an Examiner on the National Board of Chiropractic and is active in various associations and charities including local high school sports teams as well as Mineral Area College athletics. His practice utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to acute and chronic spinal conditions.
Chiropractor
Stephen W. J. Orr, D.C. is a Chiropractic Physician and provider at Midwest Orthopedic Center. Dr. Orr received a Bachelor of Science Human Kinetics degree in Windsor Ontario, Canada. He completed his Chiropractic training in December of 1993 in St. Louis, MO. After two years of private practice in Philadelphia, PA, he returned to Missouri and settled in Farmington in 1995. Currently, Dr. Orr is a member of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is active in various state and national associations. His practice specializes in the rehabilitation of acute and chronic spinal conditions. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management and is trained in Manipulation Under Anesthesia. Dr. Orr, his wife Mendy and two children reside in Farmington.
Physical Therapist
Steven Zilke PT DC is a Physical Therapist, Chiropractor and Acupuncturist. He graduated from the Physical Therapy program at St. Louis University in 1989 and after a short while working in a hospital as Physical therapist he decided to specialize in spinal care. That led him Logan College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1995. This is also where he became friends with Dr. Orr. In 2010 he completed his Acupuncture training and began incorporating the millennial old art into patient care. At Midwest Pain and Spine Dr. Zilke is responsible for the Rehab department ensuring that our valued patients strengthen their bodies as their pain subsides.
Chronic Pain perhaps one of the most challenging facets of medicine as there are very few viable solutions, coupled with a glaring social stigma. At Midwest Pain and Spine, I am pleased to have an option to provide our patients with the possibility of relief without the use, or minimization of use, of Narcotic medication.
